After seeing this book, I just had to have a grandparent & grandchild activity day! So on Saturday, March 20 from 1-3 pm we are inviting grandparents and their grandchildren to stop in the store and make a “Rainstick for a Rainy Afternoon” (a project from the book). Stop in for an afternoon a fun and hopefully a lifelong memory for you and your grandchild. Activities will run from 1-3 pm, so come at your convience. All ages are encouraged.
Due to the slow economy, Summer’s stories will be shortening their hours this winter. We are by no means going out of business, we are just adjusting our hours to match the slow economy. You can call and place an order for a book that you would like, and we will either special order it for you, or pull it off our shelves for you.
